Roboquest VR, the highly anticipated roguelite action shooter, is set to release on Steam and PlayStation VR2 later this month, with the Quest version following in early 2026. Developed by RyseUp Studios, Roboquest VR is a thrilling FPS roguelite with a comic book-inspired art style. Players take on the role of a Guardian, battling mechanical foes across randomly generated environments while navigating intense bullet hell battles. The game's release has been eagerly awaited since our initial preview in March, and it promises to deliver an immersive VR experience. Flat2VR Studios has confirmed that the upcoming adaptation has been 'fully rebuilt for VR', introducing new features such as manual reloading and interactive weapon handling. Co-op support will be added in a future update, while PS VR2-specific enhancements include adaptive trigger support, controller haptics, headset rumble, and eye-tracked foveated rendering. This release is one of five major announcements from Flat2VR Studios, which has been hosting a PlayStation VR2-focused livestream. Other games to be released on PS VR2 include VRacer Hoverbike, Audio Trip, and Shadowgate VR, with updates on Out of Sight VR and RAGER also expected. Roboquest VR is set to launch on November 20 for Steam and PlayStation VR2, with the Quest version arriving in early 2026. The game's compelling FPS roguelike mechanics and immersive VR experience make it a highly anticipated release, and we recently previewed the PC VR version on UploadVR.
